Engaging and Supporting Our Community
Community involvement and support carries a high level of importance within our corporate objectives at SC3 International. We believe strong investments in the success of our community are a key component in smart corporate citizenship.
At SC3 International, we make it a priority to contribute to a wide range of charitable programs and events.
Fighting Hunger to Strengthen our Community
Currently, The SC3 International Family of Companies is working with the Rio Grande Food Project to support the growing need for hungry families. The Rio Grande Food Project provides emergency food relief to hungry individuals and families throughout the Albuquerque, NM Metro area. They are the second largest food pantry in the city and have been filling empty bellies since 1989. Last year, RGFP had a 40% increase and provided 665,000 meals to 40,730 hungry children, adults and seniors. Each $1 donated purchases $3 of food. Supporting Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home
For more than 40 years, ACCH has provided care for children in need. A dream was realized in 1969 to house, clothe, and educate at-risk children in crisis. When Joel and Nina Taylor, ranchers in the Albuquerque area, were introduced to A.F. Cole, a construction contractor in the Albuquerque area, the dream began to materialize.
Since receiving the first children in 1970, Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home has cared for hundreds of children. Up to eighteen children receive care at any given time. The purpose of the home is to nurture, guide, and inspire children to be honest, have a healthy self-image, and to put God first in their lives. The goals of the home are to heal past hurts, and to help the children grow to become responsible citizens of their community, hold fulfilling jobs, and care for their fellow man.
